Introduction to Bushcare Workshop

Want to learn bush regeneration skills? This workshop is perfect for new Bushcare volunteers or those wanting to refresh their bush regeneration knowledge. You will learn how to best manage bushland, weed threats and more! A plant identification session and field site visit are are included.

This workshop is for people 16+.  Bookings essential, spaces limited.

Plan your EV Roadtrip!

Looking for something to do this weekend? Find curated routes taking EV drivers through some of NSW’s most popular destinations, from pristine beaches and rugged mountain ranges to national parks and charming regional towns.

EV charging stations are located along each route, with at least two fast-charging plugs and one destination charging plug per 100km. The NSW Government has provided interactive route maps and highlights local attractions along the way – many of which start in Sydney.

Weaving Stories film festival poster

Local Filmmakers Make Festival Debut

Join us for a free film festival event showcasing powerful short films created by local filmmakers, each exploring the urgent theme of climate change. This event is the culmination of the Lane Cove Weaving Climate Stories project, which has provided a unique platform for storytellers in our community. 

Held Saturday 22 March check out fun stalls showcasing sustainability information and activities from 4:00pm. Short films screening from 6:00pm with free popcorn provided! 

A weaving community art piece will also be on display. Help celebrate a night of creativity and inspiration.
