Ripples of Change

LINDSEY PRATT

I love mountains. The one thing I miss since living in Michigan is mountains. They are majestic and grand; they present challenges and excitement. I feel close to God when I am breathing the fresh mountain air. When you are hiking in mountains there are these high elevation lakes. Renovate 2.0 Update #9

Have you tried the new elevator yet? It is complete and the glass door is installed. Many seniors and others with a need for transportation between floors are now able to reach the sanctuary and the lower level. What a blessing! Will you help us reach the goal of having it fully paid for by December of this year? We are over ¾ of the way there. See our temperature gauge in the lobby to see the weekly progress on the last quarter. We can make this happen! Please help pray for the completion of our Fundraising goal. As of 9/23/23, there is $770,105 that has been raised with $229,895 to reach our goal!

Pioneer Women’s Ministries is hosting an "End of Time Life Kit" presentation by Pastor Celesta Babb. This timely presentation will be held on Sabbath (Saturday), October 7, 2023, at 4:00 PM, in the Pioneer Commons. Check-in begins at 3:30 PM. We will start promptly at 4:00 PM. What guidance does God give us about being mentally, emotionally, and spiritually ready for the end of time? During our afternoon sessions, we will look at what it looks like to be ready for Jesus’ second coming as well as how to process our emotions connected to living in the last days. Vegetarian, vegan, & gluten-free salad, soup, and bread will be served. Registration is important for planning the food. To register text the word “PREPARED” to 269-281-2345. Registration deadline: October 5, 2023. For more information contact

Something In Common Sabbath School

Sabbath Mornings 10:30 AM  •  Pioneer Room 141

Me and My Big Mouth series by Andy Stanley Ever said something you wish you could take back? Even if what you said was true, those words may have cost you a job, a reputation, or even a relationship. The longer we listen, the more we learn, and the better chance we have of protecting ourselves from our own big mouths. In all our conversations, what if we didn’t aim to be right, but tried to make things right instead?
1. October 7 – Quick to Listen
2. October 14 – Untamable
3. October 21 – According to Code
4. October 28 – Right Where You Want ‘Em
Everyone is welcome to join us from 10:30-11:30 on Sabbath mornings in Pioneer room 141.

Offering for October 7, 2023

Pioneer Operating Budget

Some parents hand their young child something to put in the offering. When does that stop? I want you to think about what you are giving and the reason you’re giving it. Some of you may have already given your tithes and offerings this month, or maybe you give online, so you aren’t giving anything during the church service. Thank you for returning your tithe and offerings.
