News from the IOT RDO – Sponsorship to attend the SEGRA Emerging Champions Program in Busselton, October 2024The Indian Ocean Territories Regional Development Organisation (IOT RDO) is offering sponsorship of up to $2,750 for flights and accommodation for an Indian Ocean Territories resident to participate in the Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia (SEGRA) Foundation’s Emerging Champions Program. ![]() SEGRA is inviting applications for the Emerging Champions Program from young people (aged 25-39) who live and work in a rural, remote or regional location in Australia, and who are passionate about creating solutions to problems in their local community. 10 successful applicants will be selected to participate in the day-and-a-half program that includes networking events, deep dive conversations, skills development and leadership activities. The successful applicants will receive a complimentary two-day pass to the National Regional and Economic Development Summit to be held in October 2024 in Busselton, and entry into the Emerging Champions Program (total value $2,500).
