Rachel Forrester-Jones, professor and director of the School of Health Studies in Western's Faculty of Health Sciences, is among 74 new Fellows inducted into the Academy of Social Sciences.

A team of researchers, led by Earth sciences professor Alina Shchepetkina, spent 12 weeks in Italy's Venice Lagoon studying tiny organisms and their traces in the sediment to understand how climate change is reshaping vulnerable coastal ecosystems.

Road Closures: Plan ahead for campus travel
Getting around campus may look a little different this fall. To support pedestrian safety during residence move-in and OWeek, some campus roadways will close intermittently between Saturday, Sept. 5 and Saturday, Sept. 12. And don’t forget: roadwork on Western Road is ongoing, and Philip Aziz Avenue remains closed while the City of London completes upgrades.
