Forbes has named Western one of Canada’s best employers for culture, recognizing the university's positive workplace, strong values and supportive leadership. The honour reflects Western's strategic focus on people, community and culture, celebrating the contributions of faculty and staff who help deliver exceptional learning, research and service across campus.

Research projects receive $32M boost

More than 150 Western researchers have been awarded $31.6 million in federal funding to tackle global challenges and advance creative solutions. The investment is part of a $1.3 billion research funding commitment from the tri-agencies.

Western Libraries has launched Western University’s Open Repository, a new platform where researchers and graduate students can submit and access scholarly publications, theses and dissertations. The updated system supports open access and sustainable, community-driven research sharing.
