Members of St Paul Lutheran Church Blair Athol in suburban Adelaide are keen to strengthen relationships with those around them, especially the children and families of the co-located school and playgroup, as well as the wider community. So, to support this renewed vision for outreach, they applied for an LCANZ Local Mission Seed Fund grant. Read more

Within just eight days from Sunday 27 April, three people are joining the LCANZ’s pastoral ministry ranks, including the church’s second woman pastor and two Aboriginal pastors. The first of the trio was Sue Westhorp, ordained by LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith at Luther College at Croydon in suburban Melbourne on Sunday. Read more

Joanne Chamberlain from Lutheran Media visited a farm in the Murraylands region of South Australia to hear the story of Alex, a local farmer whose property was devastated by a flood in 2022. Hear Alex’s story of faith and resilience as she faced the impact of the floods, which put her farm and family’s livelihood at risk. Read more
