Deep in History: On Christian Genealogical Thinking
Host: The Collegium Institute
Join the Collegium Institute for an evening conversation exploring how and why Catholics can think about history in order to deepen our understanding of the faith. We will consider why a religion centered on the eternal needs the temporal and historical. In particular, we will look at whether there is a distinctively Christian approach to genealogical thinking that learns from other approaches such as Nietzche and Hegel, yet remains grounded in Catholic thought.

Panhellenic Primary Recruitment is the formal process through which potential new members (PNMs) consider sororities, while sororities choose new sisters. The Primary Recruitment period is comprised of multiple rounds where potential new members visit each of the 7 chapters on Penn’s campus. Through a process of mutual selection, students narrow their choices until they are matched to a sorority following the last round. This will happen virtually through Asynchronous programming starting on Jan. 11, 2021 and Synchronous programming starting on Jan. 17, 2021 - Jan. 22, 2020. Registration is $25.
