Cardinia Community Career and Support Expo

A BIG thank you to everyone who came along to our Cardinia Community Career and Support Expo last month!

This exciting event was targeted at assisting those in our local community at all stages of their journey.

The event featured a diverse range of exhibitors, including local employers, community organisations, and training providers. Attendees had the unique opportunity to directly engage with these entities, enabling them to discuss current job openings, receive guidance on industry-specific skill requirements, explore training and skill development prospects, and access information about available community support services.

Winterfest 2023

We are calling on local businesses to take part in What's On Cardinia Winterfest 2023!

Designed to stimulate local business and economy, What’s On Cardinia will offer free promotion and marketing to participating local businesses, as part of the wider Winterfest campaign.

Winterfest will run from Saturday 24 June to Sunday 9 July 202.  It will showcase and celebrate local experiences and businesses, to encourage the wider community to explore and enjoy all things local these winter school holidays.

  • rebuild the resilience of small business owners.

The Visitor Servicing Fund is now open

The Visitor Servicing Fund is supporting the Victorian tourism industry to deliver innovative visitor information tools that encourage people to stay longer and spend more across the state.

The Fund will help further Victoria’s position as a destination of choice for local and international visitors, by connecting people to attractions, local businesses and encouraging them to revisit.

The 2023-24 Federal Budget was announced on 9 May, with a focus on cost-of-living relief and modernising our economy.

2023 - 24  State Budget

Treasurer Tim Pallas handed down the Victorian State Budget 2023-24 on the afternoon of 23 May 2023.

It contains a number of proposed changes to Victoria’s tax regime, the most significant of which for business relate to payroll tax, land tax and stamp duty reform for commercial and industrial properties.
