Petone to Grenada

27 February 2026

Come along to one of our community sessions

We're hosting four community sessions in March to share information with you about the Petone to Grenada project.

Petone to Grenada is a proposed new route between southern Lower Hutt and north Wellington/Porirua, providing a vital connection for communities and making it easier to get around our region. The road will reduce travel times, support economic growth and productivity, and support housing development.

Dates and venues

Come along to one of our drop-in sessions to learn about what decisions we've made to date and why, the work we have underway, and our next steps. We'll be at:

Newlands Baptist Church, 5 Horokiwi Road West, Newlands on:
• Saturday 14 March between 11am–2pm
• Tuesday 17 March between 4pm–7pm

Petone Rugby Club, Udy Street, Petone on:
• Saturday 21 March between 11am–2pm
• Wednesday 25 March between 4pm–7pm

You'll have the opportunity to speak with our project team, ask questions, and learn more about the project. No need to book, just drop in.
