Dear Staff, RE: COVID-19 Update for Calvary BonbeachFollowing our last update to residents and families, I am writing to advise that through the current testing regime, a further total of 1 resident and 1 staff member have tested positive for COVID-19, which brings the total to 12 residents and 2 staff Testing will be conducted again 07 May 2022 and we will contact you when these results are received. COVID Positive residents will need to remain, and continue to be cared for, in their rooms. We understand that it is very difficult for residents to be cared for in their rooms. Please be assured that our team will continue to ensure the holistic care needs of all residents are met. Bonbeach remains open to visitors. All visitors will need to continue to wear a N95 & Face Shield and receive a negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) prior to entering the home. What happens now? As a precaution, our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19. We thank residents and families for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time. You can help us by sharing this information with your family and friends. We are also very grateful that families continue to work with us so generously to ensure the safety of your loved ones in our care, and look forward to receiving visitors back into the Home. We will update you again as soon as any information becomes available. Thank you for your continued understanding and patience at this time.
Sincerely, Liz Ngari Acting General Manager Aged Care
