Update for Residents and Families of Calvary Millward: COVID-19 outbreak declared overFurther to our last communication, I am very pleased to inform you that no additional residents have tested positive for COVID-19 at Calvary Millward in the latest round of testing. In line with Public Health Unit advice, the outbreak at Calvary Millward can now be declared over. Our last residents have been de-isolated and visitation can now recommence from tomorrow 23 February 2022, consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care. Information for visitors Calvary Millward is open to visitors from tomorrow 23 February 2022.
As always, visitation exceptions can be made for residents receiving end of life care and for compassionate visits. Please contact the home manager to make arrangements. We will continue to monitor residents closely for symptoms of COVID-19. We are very grateful to our residents and families for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time, and very much look forward to receiving visitors back into the home.
