SH2 Remutaka Hill road night closure postponed

Tonight's planned closure postponed due to bad weather

For the second night in a row, the weather has made it unsafe and impractical for our workers to undertake the maintenance and slip prevention jobs we had planned on the Remutaka Hill road.

This means the road is open all night for you to drive across if you need to. But please do take extra care and drive to the conditions.
