News About UAFP's CME & Ski Conference

Over the past six years, “CME & Ski” has become one of UAFP’s signature events. Since its inception in 2015, we have had hundreds of speakers and attendees join us from around the county to learn, ski, network, and enjoy the fantastic amenities Utah has to offer. We were so fortunate to be able to host our 2020 event at the end of February before lockdowns and travel restrictions began.

In the early months of the pandemic, we at UAFP hoped that we might be able to again host this in-person educational event in February 2021. But as cases spiked in Utah and across the country over the summer, we realized that trying to plan an event that brings guests from up to 25 different states in the middle of cold and flu season and a pandemic is just not advisable. The next challenge is around the corner: a flu season superimposed on COVID-19." Read more...

COVID-19 Updates

COVID-19 Cases Trending Upward, Utah County Driving Trend

State epidemiologist, Dr. Angela Dunn, "We are experiencing a clear upward trend in case counts right now. This trend is being driven, in large part, by an increase in cases among college-aged young adults in Utah County. Since last Friday, 39% of all new cases have come from Utah County, this despite the fact that Utah County's population represents just 20% of the state's population. Most of these cases are among 14-24 year olds, and the majority of those are among college-aged young adults." For more information about the cases in the County's two Universities visit:
