Carleton Mobile App Update: 1.6.0

Carleton Mobile has been updated to version 1.6.0, with a link to the HeyChef dining app, improved exams view display, filters for electric vehicle (EV) stations on the campus map, bug fixes and general updates. Full details on the update are available on the Carleton Mobile news and release updates page.

If you already have the app on your mobile device, ensure you update to version 1.6.0.

Manage Stress with How to… From 10 to 2

The Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) is providing specialized How to… From 10 to 2 sessions leading up to the final exam season. Learn tips and tricks on managing stress during the exam season from the From Intention to Action (FITA) team on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

No appointment? No problem! Regular How to… From 10 to 2 drop-in sessions are available Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in 402 MacOdrum Library or virtually on Microsoft Teams. Stop by to get assistance with any learning or writing related questions.

Non-Credit Student Success Certificate

The Non-Credit Student Success Certificate helps students develop key academic and life skills to support their success during their studies and beyond. Attend at least three How to… From 10 to 2 sessions to build your skills and earn the certificate.

Need extra help writing assignments or want to sharpen your learning strategies? Book a personalized one-on-one session with the Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS)! Whether it's brainstorming ideas for an assignment, perfecting your paper, tackling time management or developing stronger study habits, CSAS has you covered.

Summer Term Registration Now Open

Registration for the summer session is now open for all students. The summer is a great time to catch up or get ahead in your studies. Read the full post on the Current Students website for tips and guidance in registering for summer courses.

 

Kinàmàgawin Symposium

The Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement is hosting the annual Kinàmàgawin Symposium on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The symposium includes keynote speakers, panel discussions and a cultural performance focused on the theme Indigenization: how to use design thinking with Indigenous community to find our truth for systems disruption, innovation, imagination and course correction in an effort to reconcile.

 

Planned Web Service Outages

There will be brief periods of service degradation to some web services as ITS performs system maintenance on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 12:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Affected services include Carleton Central, Carleton360 and the Carleton Mobile app.

Getting Ready for Fall Registration

As we head into the end of term, it’s a good time to make sure you’re ready for registration in the fall. Please visit the Current Students website for some tips to ensure you’re prepared. Some things to consider in advance of registration include: Changes of Program Elements (COPE), government funding applications, registration status and year level, account balance and class schedule.

Ever wonder what types of projects you could work on if you participate in the Internship-Carleton University Research Experience for Undergraduate Students (I-CUREUS) or the Students as Partners Program (SaPP)? 

Drop by the annual SaPP and I-CUREUS showcase to hear from program participants on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Future Learning Lab on the fourth floor of MacOdrum Library.
