New Student Orientation (NSO) for all incoming freshmen will begin with mandatory activities on the evening of Wednesday, August 25, 2021. However, we are offering additional programming starting on Monday, August 23 that may be of interest to you as you have been identified as a First-Generation and/or Lower Income (FGLI) student. This programming is hosted in partnership with Penn First Plus (P1P) and the Greenfield Intercultural Center, who work with the FGLI student leadership to craft a warm and informative welcome to Penn. Move-InAll first-generation and/or lower-income students are welcome to move in on Monday, August 23, 2021. By moving in on Monday, you will be able to take part in programming specifically designed to prepare you to thrive in the upcoming years. More details about these programs coming soon! Once your housing has been confirmed, you will be able to select a move-in time slot for August 23. Specific questions about housing can be directed to living@upenn.edu.
