Click here 31 January 2022 Dear Resident and Family Members, COVID-19 Update - Calvary Brighton Further to our recent update, we are pleased to advise that all Calvary Brighton residents have now received negative COVID-19 results from our latest round of testing. What does that mean for residents? Residents are now able to move freely throughout the facility whilst still adhering to density requirements and social distancing. What does that mean for visitors? One single visitor will be permitted per resident during the home’s visiting hours from 1 February 2022 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays by appointment only. Visitation exceptions may be made for residents receiving end of life care, or who may be experiencing distress, or where a special care and support role is provided. Please speak with the manager of your home to discuss arrangements How do I make a booking for my visit? To ensure the safety of our residents and staff the following process remains in place for visiting:
At this stage, to ensure every resident may have a visitor and staff are on hand to assist you with testing and PPE preparation, we are alternating the days of family visitation with the days of RAT testing for our staff. With this in place all residents will be able to have a weekly visit. The following appointment times are available for a single visitor only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: 10am, 11am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm or 2.30pm. What happens now?As a precaution, our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19. We thank residents and families for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time. You can help us by sharing this information with your family and friends. We are also very grateful that families continue to work with us so generously to ensure the safety of your loved ones in our care.
