On Monday, June 9, PFC held its Annual General Meeting at which our outgoing Board Chair Simon Mallett welcomed Nadia Duguay, from Fondation Béati, to the Board of Directors for a three-year term.
As of today, Simon moves into the role of Past Chair – we thank you, Simon, for your ongoing commitment to PFC and to the philanthropic sector! He passes the baton to in-coming Board Chair, Ina Gutium – Ina has served on the PFC Board since 2021, before moving into the role of PFC Board Chair. We are delighted to have you as our Chair, Ina!
Simon Mallett and Jean-Marc Mangin’s AGM remarks have been posted to our website for reference. Last month, executive leaders from PFC’s membership met in Whistler, BC to attend our Annual CEO Retreat. Member representatives from across the country discussed key issues and sector developments in a facilitated format. Some participants took the initiative to share personal reflections from the experience, which can be read here, here, and here, and another shared pictures here, here and here.
In 2024, PFC marked our 25th anniversary – a significant milestone for our community! To look back on the past year, and to celebrate our accomplishments as a network, we invite you to read our 2024 Annual Report. In response to an article in La Presse, Jean-Marc Mangin published a post about the positive implications of evolving charity regulations.
