FUTURES TEAM GOLF EVENT 

TAI TAPU GOLF CLUB 

On Thursday 18th April we held our 9-hole team golf event at Tai Tapu Golf Club. What a stunning day it was for golf and the kids had an absolute blast playing this fun ambrose format.

A huge thank you to Tai Tapu Golf Club for hosting this event!

Congratulations to Ollie and Sam Adams for taking out the purple tee division and to Griffin Roycroft and Noah Gow for winning the yellow tee division.

Well done to everyone who participated on the day.

BOTTLE LAKE GOLF CLUB

A huge thank you to Bottle Lake Golf Club for hosting the team golf event on Sunday 12th May and providing a wonderful day out for the kids.

Congratulations to Amaar Van Staden and Alex Kimber for winning the purple tee division and to Toby Pascoe and Tobias Delahunty for winning the yellow tee division.

Well done to everyone who participated on the day. We had a few new faces attend this event which was great to see!

JUNIOR MATCHPLAY INTERCLUB FINALS WAITIKIRI GOLF CLUB

A huge congratulations to our Futures Canterbury team for winning the 2024 Junior Matchplay Interclub Final held at Waitikiri Golf Club on Sunday 19th May.  We are incredibly proud of this team for their achievement. The team consisted of Isabella Lin, Austin Wills, Jordan Breitmeyer, Thomas Oosthuizen, Griffin Roycroft & Andy Lin (manager)

What a superb day it was for our Futures 9-hole event held last Sunday. A huge thank you to McLeans Island Golf Club for being wonderful hosts.

JUNIOR GOLF- CANTERBURY FACEBOOK GROUP

Join the Junior Golf- Canterbury Facebook group to hear about the latest events, playing opportunities, and learning experiences in the Canterbury region! This is also a platform for connecting with other parents/guardians of junior golfers in Canterbury.

To help facilitate the buying and selling of used or new junior golf equipment, members can list equipment under the Buy and Sell tab. In providing this local trading post, Canterbury Golf is not responsible for the sale of items or the transaction itself. Any sale made through this group is between the buyer and the seller.

This group is administered and run by Canterbury Golf.

REMINDER

Just a reminder to all our Futures Canterbury members that your membership only allows you to play at off-peak times that the hub courses have provided. Please note that these are different for each hub club.  If you click on the button below it will show you the course availability days/times for each hub club.

If you wish to play outside these days/times you will need to pay a green fee to the golf club.

FUTURES SECONDARY MEMBERSHIP

In line with our recent Hub Model change which encourages members to become a Hub Club Primary member, we have recently created a new Futures Canterbury Secondary Membership form.

Participants that have completed this transition from the Hub into a club now have the ability to maintain their full Futures Canterbury benefits/access, as a Secondary member. This can be purchased at a cost of $75 annually, as long as you hold a Primary Membership at one of the hub clubs, up until the age of 19.
