Coronavirus (COVID-19) | Update for Residents and Families

Dear Resident or Family Member,

RE: COVID-19 Update for Calvary Mirridong

I am pleased to inform residents and families that all tested Calvary Mirridong residents have received negative results from the latest round of testing. In line with Public Health Unit advice, we now are able to lift the current visitation restrictions at Calvary Mirridong.

Consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care Calvary Mirridong will welcome visitors back into the home from 04 march 2022.

Information for visitors

• Calvary Mirridong is open to visitors from 04 March 2022.

• Visiting hours are between 9-5pm.

• There is no limit to the number of visitors allowed per resident, per day.

• Visitors will be required to complete screening requirements prior to entry and wear appropriate PPE (including face mask and shield) whilst visiting. PPE is provided by Calvary.

• As a precaution to keeping residents safe, visitors may be required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT test) before entering the home. This takes time, and we ask for your patience as we manage this important screening process.

• If you have any questions please speak with the home manager.

Our staff will continue to closely monitor all residents for symptoms of COVID-19.

We are very grateful to our residents and families for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time, and very much look forward to receiving visitors back into the home. You can help us by sharing this information with your family and friends.
