Lane Cove Wins LGNSW Local Sustainability Award
Lane Cove took home three awards at this week's LGNSW Excellence in Environment Awards, including the prestigious Local Sustainability Award.
Lane Cove Council was awarded category winner for the Towards Net Zero Emissions Award for our programs to reduce emissions, the Innovation in Planning Policies and Decision Making Award for our sustainability review of our DCP, and was named overall winner of the Local Sustainability Award for our work in implementing sustainability and striving for a sustainable future for our community.
Nominations closing soon for the Sustainability Advisory Committee
Council is seeking members of our community to sit on our Sustainability Advisory Committee.
This committee assists Council to formulate, prioritise, and implement strategies and initiatives to achieve sustainability in Lane Cove.
Nominations close December 16, so be sure to register your interest!
