Pilot Supports More Aligned Quality Reporting for Medi-Cal Practices
Building on its work to advance quality improvement and care delivery across Los Angeles, CQC is partnering with L.A. Care Health Plan, Health Net, Molina Healthcare, Blue Shield Promise and Anthem to align quality reporting and data infrastructure across Health Care LA, IPA's network of 32 federally qualified health centers and community clinics. Together these organizations serve approximately 720,000 Los Angeles County residents.
Through shared data planning and coordinated expectations, participating health plans established a common approach to reporting and data exchange, creating a foundation for more consistent workflows and reducing administrative burden for participating practices.
The pilot aims to create a more streamlined experience for organizations serving Medi-Cal populations, allowing practices to spend more time focused on patient care.
CQC Shares Perspectives on Meaningful Digital Engagement on NCQA's Quality Matters Podcast
CQC's Peter Robertson recently joined the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) Quality Matters podcast to discuss what meaningful digital engagement looks like beyond app downloads and logins.
The conversation explored how digitally enabled solutions can improve health outcomes through stronger care coordination, value-based care, data privacy and patient trust. Peter also shared CQC's perspective on the importance of connecting digital tools with primary care teams to create a more seamless patient experience.
CQC Joins AHRQ's National Behavioral Health Integration Ecosystem
CQC has joined the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ) Behavioral Health Integration Ecosystem, a national resource connecting organizations working to advance behavioral health integration. Inclusion in the directory expands opportunities for collaboration and helps connect providers and partners with organizations that offer implementation support, technical assistance and educational resources.
