Have Breakfast with the Day of Dialogue Speaker!

PCP alum Braheim Knight, R.Ph, is the the keynote speaker for Day of Dialogue. PCP is hosting a meet and greet breakfast prior to this talk. Students and faculty are invited to join us (space is limited). His talk is entitled "The Practice of Cultural Humility in Earning Trust and Building Community" and on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. The talk is on Hawk Hill and breakfast will be immediately prior (so around 8:30 AM). Walk to End Alzheimer's Association

Interested in being active in the community by attending the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Event? Join ASCP this year to learn about this life altering condition, how it affects patients and their families/caregivers, and how we can support patients as healthcare providers. The Walk is on November 9th 2024 at Citizens Bank Park and is free to attend! This is an incredible community service event that can benefit students of all majors and in any year [counts for IPPE requirements]. Interested in a Pediatric APPE Rotation? Calling all P3 Pharmacy Students

Dr. Bradford and Dr. Alm will be offering a pediatric APPE matrix experience for all interested P3 pharmacy students. APPE rotations offered include Acute Care General Pediatric Unit, Acute Care Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Research, and Pediatric Scholarship. Information regarding the specific rotations offered at which rotation block is included in the application. Interested students can apply via the application form. The application requires sending the completed application form to both Dr. Bradford and Dr. Alm by Friday, November 1st; your CV, and a 2 minute video explaining why you would like to complete a pediatric rotation. If you have any questions, please send them to Dr. Bradford and/or Dr. Alm. Thank you! 10/10

Examsoft and OS updates

Apple recently announced the release of its new operating system, macOS Sequoia. Currently supported versions of Examplify will now support this operating system. They will align with Apple and retire support for macOS Monterey in November 2024.

Microsoft has also announced the upcoming release of new operating systems Windows 11 24H2, but the official date is not yet available. Please DO NOT update your devices to Windows 11 24H2 (including beta versions) until we certify Examplify’s compatibility with the new version for Windows. Posted by Dr. Bowen. 10/7
