From Beechworth Visitor Information CentreHello everyone, Thanks to funding from the Victorian Government's Regional Collections Access Program, local specialists, Period Building Conservation, have created beautiful new display cabinets that faithfully recreate James Kyle's original 1865 designs. The Burke Museum welcomes visitors daily from 10:00am to 4:30pm, with FREE entry for all local residents. The Bike Hire Company is taking a well-earned winter break, parking the pedals for the season. They'll be back in spring, ready to gear you up for more two-wheeled adventures around our beautiful region. Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention Centre Regional Events Fund - Event Growth and DevelopmentThe Regional Events Fund (REF) has been established to attract and support events held in regional Victoria that bring visitors from outside the region, create job opportunities and contribute to the local visitor economy. Funding of up to $500,000 is available in Stream 2 - Event Growth and Development to grow the impact of medium to large scale events in the regions. Applications will be considered from private and public sector groups. Applications close on 30 June 2025.
