Earlier this month, Chinese Lutheran pastors and ministry leaders from across Australia and New Zealand gathered in Brisbane for the 2026 Chinese Ministry Summit. Hosted by the Queensland Asian Lutheran Church, the event centred on the theme 'Growing together in mission', offering shared learning and renewed unity. Read more
Lutheran Archives has marked 100 years of gathering, preserving and sharing records and stories of Lutheran churches in Australia and New Zealand, while noting its origins trace back earlier than its official beginning in 1926. A recent presentation highlighted key people and milestones that have shaped the archives into a vital resource for the LCANZ. Read more
A new Advocacy for Women in Pastoral Ministry team has been established in the LCANZ, continuing the church’s work following the 2024 Convention of General Synod resolution. The move marks a transition from a single advocate role to a collaborative, team-based approach. Team members are serving on a voluntary basis. Read more

LCA International Mission will soon ship a container of birthing kits to Papua New Guinea and has space for donations of theological books to support students and lecturers in Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea seminaries.
