Ash Wednesday

 

Ash Wednesday is February 22nd.

Pastor Erin will be offering early morning ashes from 7-8am. 

Evening worship and Ashes will be at 7pm.

Women's Group

The January Women's Group had a nice time at Kenna Anderson's house.

Dorothy Peterson will host the Saturday, February 11th gathering at 10am at her home. We hope that a Saturday morning meeting time will allow those who cannot make it on Thursday nights to attend.

Nursery Volunteer Help Needed

Do you love holding babies and playing with little children? We need you! 

We are in need of a second adult to help in the nursery on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:30. You can sign up to help once a month or just to help occasionally when it works in your schedule. Please contact Dawn Schubert at rural_rococo@msn.com. Thank you!

Red Cross Blood Drive - February 16th

St. Matthew will host a blood drive on Thursday, February 16th, from 12-5pm. 

They are in great need of Type O donors.

Pickleball, March 4th

Pickleball is a fun sport created for all ages and skill levels that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. Adults are invited to come play pickleball on Saturday, March 4th, from 3-5pm at the Warrenville Park District indoor pickleball courts located at 3S260 Warren Avenue in Warrenville. You do not need any pickleball playing experience to participate in this event.

The cost for participants will be approximately $10/person. Grabbing dinner afterward will also be an option. This Membership Life event is limited to 30 participants and sign up is required. The information and sign-up sheets are located in the narthex. Come join us for a fun-filled afternoon!

If you requested giving envelopes for 2023, they are on the table in the narthex and ready to be picked up.
