• CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
• There are 3 Entry Points to our program: Learn to Sail (8-11yo), Middle School Sailing (5th-8th grade) and High School Sailing (13-18yo).
• Boats are provided for all introductory level classes (entry points) as well as Opti Green/Development. Boat ownership is needed for the Opti and 420 Race Teams after your first season.
• PYSF Scholarships are available as part of PYSF’s mission to be a community sailing program that teaches sailing regardless of ability to pay. To apply for a scholarship, complete the PYSF Request for Scholarship. Contact info@pysf.us if you have any questions.
• Check out our Foiling classes, the expanded boats in our Middle School program and the High Performance Team schedule.  Lots of options for our sailors at all ages and levels!
• Class size is limited.  Registration will open August 8th at 9am. The link will be mailed to this email list, as well as posted onto the website.

Where: PYSF Chesapeake Venue, 1200 Chesapeake Dr. 

When: Saturday, August 9 (Regatta 9:30am-1pm, Party 1pm-4pm) *Must register for the regatta by Thursday August 7th*

What: Support PYSF through our 8th Annual Family FUN Regatta!  Current PYSF sailors and alumni will be sailing with their family members in our fleet of FJs on Saturday, August 9th. We will have a taco truck and Family Night Style party following the regatta at our Chesapeake Venue, with boats at the dock for everyone to sail.

Lori Wilkinson, who the event is named after was someone who loved family, sailing and fun fiercely.  A PYSF parent and mainstay, she was loved by all who met her. It is fun to see the newbies join the racers, the parents and grandparents take instruction from the kids, the siblings working together and the joy in everyone's eyes as they duke it out on the racecourse. This day of fun on and near the water is such a great way to remember her awesome spirit.

Suggested donation of $250 for regatta entry, $25pp for the party only. All funds raised go directly to improving our fleet of 80+ boats, scholarships and programming. Any amount helps us get more kids on the water hooked on our sport!
