Friday Night Live funding
Introducing Friday Night Live, a new City of Adelaide initiative that will bring city venues and streets alive with live music. As part of Reignite Adelaide, this program will provide opportunities for musicians to perform at, and partner with businesses, to revitalise and sustain a strong live music presence in the city as we continue to recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
Renew Adelaide partnership
A renewed funding partnership between AEDA and Renew Adelaide will help launch and support 15 new business ventures across the CBD throughout the 2022 financial year. Renew Adelaide is a non-for-profit organisation that provides start-up ventures and entrepreneurs the opportunity to test and trial their concepts under a rent-free model.

Sofitel Adelaide is now open
Adelaide’s first internationally recognised five-star hotel in over 30 years opened on Currie Street last week. More than 1000 constructions jobs in South Australia were created with this project, while over 100 people now have employment in the CBD.

Town Square applications
Tasting Australia is inviting local restaurants, caterers and food purveyors to apply to be part of Town Square in 2022, where vendors will be the face of the hub of the festival. Applications close 13 December.
