Dear Resident or Family Member,

Following our last update to residents and families, I am writing to advise that through the current testing regime, an additional 3 residents and 1 staff member have tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total number in the current outbreak to 7 including 5 residents and 2 staff. The COVID residents remain across Bayview A (1) and Bayview B (4).

Testing will be conducted again Wednesday 30 March 2022, and we will contact you when these results are received.

Calvary Elanora remains open for general visitation.
The following units remain open.

• Moule Terrace
• Wicking Gardens
• John Grant Court
• Bayview A

Bayview B remains in lockdown until further testing due on the 30th of March 2022.

Please be assured that our staff have prepared for COVID-19 exposures and outbreaks such as this. Our staff are trained in strict infection control procedures and are focusing all of their attention on the individual care needs of residents.

We will update you again as soon as any information becomes available. We anticipate our next update to residents and families will be Wednesday 30th of March, unless there are any changes that need to be communicated before then.

We know that this will be worrying for you and your loved ones in our care. We want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to continue to look after the health and wellbeing of all our residents while keeping them safe during this difficult time.
