• Jonah 1 and  2, and 3:1-4

Discuss

• “Can you hide a person from God?”
• “The men on the ship with Jonah would not have known Jonah was disobedient to God if he had not told them. Mom and Dad aren’t always aware when you haven’t obeyed exactly, either. But God always knows if you had obeyed or not.”
• “Did Jonah’s disobedience affect others?” “How?” (All people in the boat were in danger from the storm.)
• “Did Jonah repent of his disobedience?” “How did God respond?” (He forgave Jonah and rescued him.)

• “What did Jonah do when God have him instructions the second time?” (He obeyed God.)

Pray

• Pray for grace to be obedient.
