PCP Student Council Applications OPEN
If you are looking for a way to get involved, being a class representative for the PCP Student Council is a good way to start! If you have been a class representative before, you must reapply for this year as well. As a class representative, you have the opportunity to advocate for your class and make a meaningful impact. Full responsibilities for class representatives are detailed in the application. 9/9
Microsoft and Apple Operating System Updates and Examplify Compatibility
Microsoft and Apple have announced the upcoming release of new operating systems Windows 11 24H2 and macOS Sequoia, but official dates are not yet available. Please DO NOT update your devices to Windows 11 24H2 or macOS Sequoia (including beta versions) until we certify Examplify’s compatibility with the new versions. P2 Survival Event for ALL P2 Students!
Rho Chi board members will provide you with important tips and skills to help you succeed in your P2 modules as professional students. As this year encompasses various therapeutic and drug information classes; we are here to share our own personalized study tips and strategies to help you through it. Consider nominating your parent for the Parent's Leadership Council (PLC)
The Parents’ Leadership Council is a vibrant community of parents at SJU who play an integral role in shaping the future of our institution. Through the PLC, parents support the University with their gifts of time, talent and treasure. It would be great to have PCP parents involved. Any parent is welcome. Call for Volunteers: Participate in a Community Artwork with the Pharmacy Museum!
The Marvin Samson Museum for the History of Pharmacy is seeking volunteers from the SJU community to work with visiting artist Teresa Cervantes in the production of a series of artworks for an upcoming campus exhibition. PCP at Hawk Hill - Bridging the Gap!
Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at Hawk Hill is a student-led organization with the goal to create a warm, inclusive environment for undergraduate students to integrate into the pharmaceutical field with mentors and peers by their side. We will host meetings and events with other PCP organizations in order to unite PCP across campuses while advancing our academic and professional careers. ISO pharmacy student ambassadors who joined SJU at P1!
The Admissions Office is looking for enthusiastic students to represent their program and the School of Health Professions for the 2024-2025 school year! Our Hawk Host Ambassadors will participate in chats, open houses and other events. This is a paid position and is a great way to get involved with the university! Interested students can apply using Handshake (Students eligible for Federal Work Study (FWS) will be able to view an application for FWS, otherwise students can apply to be a student worker (non federal work study)). Scholarship Opportunity for P1s and P2s!
The National Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship Program provides financial scholarships for students with outstanding academic records and leadership, who are committed to serving Hispanics, and are enrolled full-time for the 2024-2025 academic year in health professions programs including pharmacy. This year, the program will feature awards of $5,000 annually for up to four years as well as individual scholarship awards of $2,000 each. Applications are due Friday 9/13/24 at 11:59 PM!
