We hope you have been enjoying our New Student Orientation (NSO) activities! Below you'll find more information about today's events.

The New Student Orientation (NSO) schedule is packed with events that prepare you for your Penn career! Take a peek at some of the many programs that you have to look forward to this week. If you have any questions, be sure to reach out to your Peers Helping Integrate New Students (PHINS) Orientation Leader who will guide you through the week. Transfer Student Advising Session - Nursing

Have your transfer credit and plan of study questions answered during this advising session with Penn Nursing.
West Philadelphia & University City Tours
Various locations | 11am
Walking tours engage first-years with the gems of Penn’s hometown including Clark Park and Cira Green.
Transfer Student Penn's Landing Trip
Meet at Rodin | 1:30pm-4:30pm
Take the new transfers to a tour to nearby thrift stores in West Philly, introducing them to economic fit options in the area.
LGBT Center Make Your Own Sand Art
LGBT Center | 3pm-5pm
TSO Mentorship Activities Fair
Bodek Lounge, Houston Hall | 6:30pm-8pm
If you are a member of a club at Penn, this is an opportunity to plug your club to the new transfers who may want to join. In addition, the room will be divided by major so that new transfers can come to you with major-specific questions.
Penn Bookstore Social
Penn Bookstore | 8pm-10pm
Welcome to Penn’s comprehensive and comfortable bookstore – a great place to shop and hang out. Enjoy live music and desserts in the 2nd floor cafe.
TSO Waffles & Ice Cream Night
1920 Commons Pergola (Stommons) | 9pm-11pm
Join TSO and the Class Boards for a night filled with waffles, ice cream, and a selection of tasty toppings.
NSO Speakeasy
Kelly Writers House Garden | 9pm-11pm
This open mic night features performances by the incoming class. Bring your poetry, your guitar, or your award winning essay and share your talents with your classmates. Or just come to hang out, listen, and check out the Writers House.
Late Night Activities Fair
College Green | 11pm-1am
Grab a friend and enjoy games, food, and raffles while meeting student groups.

At Highball To Hey Day, students learned about Penn traditions, enjoyed some games, and signed their class banner.
With guest comedians, Luke Mones and Mekki Leeper, first-year students had a laugh at Irvine Auditorium.
Dining Café Hours For Friday, August 26
Dining café hours throughout the week of NSO can be viewed through the Penn Dining website here. Dining swipes on your PennCard can be used at the Dining cafés. Dining café options for today include: McClelland Sushi & Market, Lauder College House, English House, Falk at Penn Hillel, Hill House, and 1920 Commons.
