The profile provides you with statistics based on the Medical Services Plan (MSP) fee-for-service payments made to you for services provided in the 2021 calendar year, including any settlements or retroactive payments issued as of March 31, 2022. Why view your profile? The individualized profile allows you to view your MSP billing patterns, identify any flags, and make proactive changes, if needed, which may reduce your risk of an MSP audit. JCC Pre-Forum 2023Registration now open for JCC Pre-Forum: Collaborative Compassion: The Power of Connectedness The Joint Collaborative Committees invite physicians and health care providers to attend the 2023 JCC Pre-Forum on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023, in Vancouver. This year’s theme explores Collaborative Compassion: The Power of Connectedness. This one-day event is intended to highlight the diverse and varied work of the collaborative committees, and to recognize the work being accomplished by our partnerships with others in health care. Event participants will have the opportunity to hear from renowned keynote speakers, Drs Susan Biali-Haas and James Makokis and will have the chance to attend a variety of QI presentations in various formats such as rapid fire presentations, workshops, and storyboard displays. Musqueam and Saulteau First Nations Community-Based Experiential Learning SessionsMusqueam First Nation (Vancouver), Wednesday, April 19th Saulteau First Nation (Moberly Lake), Tuesday, May 30th This interactive learning experience encourages on-going learning and relationship building between participants and Indigenous communities. Learn about cultural safety education within the First Nation community, experience traditional food, dwelling, songs, protocols, language, history and stories and connect with local health staff and providers that work in the First Nation community. During this session, themes of colonial genocide, systematic separation from Indigenous identity, land and culture and the mental and physical health and substance use that come as a result of these facets, will be discussed. These themes may surface personal stories and participants are encouraged to prepare to hear this difficult journey. Registration is limited to 40 participants, so please register early. Chronic Disease Community of Practice eventThe Chronic Disease Community of Practice Steering Committee is holding an in-person Engagement Event on April 28, 2023, at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Participants will learn about the Chronic Disease Community of Practice, hear content around heart failure, discuss the common barriers and enablers across chronic diseases, and learn about innovations happening in the province. This event is for physicians, allied health care providers, patient representatives, family representatives, health authority staff, and other health system partners with an interest in Chronic Disease management.
