Ancillary Fee Referenda: Mental Health Fee

The Carleton University ancillary fee referenda has been issued. Due to overwhelming demand for increased mental health supports, Health and Counselling Services is proposing a $25 per term mental health fee. 

Vote by online ballot through your cMail on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15, 2024.

 

Important Dates

Friday, March 8, 2024: Last day to withdraw from late winter term courses with a full fee adjustment.

Friday, March 15, 2024: Last day for academic withdrawal from full winter, late winter and fall/winter courses.

Celebrating Carleton Women on International Women's Day 

Carleton University is recognizing the accomplishments and contributions of amazing women in our community on International Women’s Day (IWD) on Friday, March 8, 2024.

Examples of leadership, achievement, positive change and hard work from Carleton women – students, faculty, instructors and staff members – are showcased on the university’s IWD webpage.

Muay Thai Seminar with Taylor McClatchie for International Women’s Day

Carleton Athletics is excited to host a free Muay Thai seminar with pro-fighter, first Canadian Female LionFight Champion, Muay Thai World Cup Champion and two time World Champion, Taylor McClatchie. Discover the sport of Muay Thai from the best in the business in the Ravens’ Nest on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Therapy Dog Convocation Livestream

Celebrate the Carleton Therapy Dogs and their handlers with us on Thursday, March 7, 2024 by livestream! Watch the dogs cross the stage in recognition of their contributions to Carleton’s mental health and wellness services.

First Year Connections - Hiring Mentors

The Student Experience Office (SEO) is hiring mentors to support the First Year Connections program for the upcoming academic year. The peer mentor positions are a part-time, paid opportunity for September and October with training in the summer. Applications are due Friday, March 15, 2024.

SDG Week Canada 2024 - Virtual Panels

Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Week Canada is a national collaboration from Monday, March 4 to Friday, March 8, 2024, featuring workshops, panels, and other interactive programming. Sustainability Carleton will be hosting two virtual panel discussions about the UN SDGs during SDG Week.

 

WWF Living Planet @ Campus Program at Carleton University

Carleton has partnered with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Canada for their Living Planet @ Campus program. Build your skills and experience in sustainability and conservation through information, resources and the Living Planet Leader student certification.

Graduation/Spring Convocation

 

Students who will have completed their program requirements in winter 2024 must apply to graduate in Carleton Central (log in Carleton360 via the Current Students website). The deadline to do so is Monday, April 1, 2024.
