The public health strategist, consultant, thought leader, and 2011 SPH graduate will serve as the alumni speaker at the Convocation.

Caroline Slyer, Megan Healey, Eugene Declercq, Michael Winter, and Wendy Heiger-Bernays will receive awards. 2021 recipients Hiba Abousleiman, Monica Onyango, Roberta White, Patricia Gonzalez, and Monica Wang, who participated in a virtual ceremony last year, will also be recognized.

Professor Receives $2.5M NIH Grant to Study Trauma, Mental Health, and Cardiovascular Disease

Led by Jaimie Gradus, the five-year project will inform the development of targeted cardiovascular disease prevention efforts in trauma-exposed populations.

Heart Study Shows Longer Life Expectancy, Lower Cardiovascular Risks for Men and Women

A new Framingham Heart Study analysis by Vasan Ramachadran found that from 1960-2018, life expectancy rose by 12 years for women and 10 years for men, and remaining lifetime risk of cardiovascular disease fell by 10 percent for women and by 22 percent for men.
