Registered physicians will receive a link to the prerequisite Eligibility and Enrolment billing video in late August. Please watch this video before attending the webinars. There will be dedicated time at the beginning of the webinar on September 18 for your questions about this topic. As space is limited, registration is open to family physicians and residents only. For those interested in viewing the webinar recordings after the sessions, they will be shared on the Doctors of BC YouTube channel. Four new MSP/Teleplan LFP explanatory codesMSP/Teleplan has four new explanatory codes for common LFP billing errors among physicians. Explanatory codes accompany payment rejections or reductions to provide physicians with the reason for their billing not being fully paid.
The full list of explanatory codes can be found on the Ministry of Health website. You can read more about these new LFP explanatory codes with practical examples on the BC Family Doctors website (member login required). If you have questions, email FP.Billing@doctorsofbc.ca.
