Women's Voices for International Women's Day
In honour of International Women's Day on 8 March, we're celebrating women throughout the whole month.
Join Martine Kropowski, K.M. Steele, Stella Quinn and Christine Leonard in honouring women's voices near and far.
April school holiday programs
From 7 April, free activities for kids and teens include a QAGOMA workshop, Cricut arts and crafts, dance stories with Matt Burns and fun with clay!
Online bookings open on Saturday 21 March at 9am.

STEAM zone after-school programs
Each week, kids aged five to 12 years engage in creative science, technology, engineering, arts and maths projects that engage creative thinking. This month's projects include Hex bugs and LEGO, Quiver masks and iPad coding.
Messy play in the park
Monday 9 March, 9.30am at Sel Outridge Park
Sensory enrichment for toddlers with different stations and activities.

Teen after-school programs
Teen art club at Capalaba Library meets twice a month, Teen Makerspace takeover meets monthly at Cleveland Library, and anime enthusiasts come together once a month at both Capalaba and Cleveland libraries.
STEAM play

This program introduces science, tech, engineering, arts and maths to babies and toddlers in fun, imaginative ways.

Weekly story times
Every week our beloved First 5 Forever team delivers Toddler time, Story time and Baby time at Capalaba, Cleveland and Victoria Point libraries. They also put on special monthly story times at Point Lookout Library and Russell Island Library.

Each month Libby organises an online book club led by writer Ben Hobson.

Create and connect sessions
Explore your creativity in unique ways during our monthly Create and connect sessions. This month, we'll be making macramé angels, some lovely pressed flower jars and using a traditional quilting pattern to create gorgeous canvas paintings.
Summer reading in other languages
The CloudLibrary Language Collection is a curated selection of eBooks and eAudiobooks in twenty-nine languages, including Arabic, French, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and more.
This collection is free and available to access anytime with your library card.
