Procession of Hope Next Sabbath

One of our congregation’s memorable traditions comes on Resurrection Sabbath (April 16) next week, when we pause in worship to remember Pioneer Family members who have fallen asleep in death between last Easter and this Easter. If you would like to remember your loved ones (whether once Pioneer members or not) and testify to your hope in Christ, please bring some cut flowers to worship next Sabbath and place them at the foot of the cross in either service. (Flowers will also be provided.) “‘For I am the resurrection and the life—they who believe in Me, though they die, yet shall they live’” (John 11:25).
—Dwight K. Nelson

Sleep in Heavenly Peace Building Project

This spring, Pioneer Grow Groups will be partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build and deliver beds for local children in need.

We’re looking for volunteers who are interested in delivering and assembling beds in homes on April 10, 2022. Our plan is to build beds in the morning, starting at 9:00 AM,  and at 11:00 AM we’ll begin delivering and assembling them in recipients’ homes.

We exceeded our original goal, to raise funds for 30 beds, and raised enough for 35. Since then, we have been made aware of a need for 6 more beds for children in our community. At $250 each, that means we need to raise an additional $1500. If you’d like to donate to the Pioneer Outreach fund, volunteer, and/or find more information, text "BEDS" to 269.281.2345 or visit pmchurch.org/beds.

Donations to the Pioneer Outreach fund in excess of what we need for this project will be used for other service/outreach initiatives in and by our community.

Join us as we practice being Love on the Move in our community!
