National Tree Day done differentlyThis year we decided to do things at bit differently at tree day. Instead of planting into the park-like environment of Burns Bay, we are planting into two bushland areas in an attempt to increase biodiversity and build a seed bank in the soil for the future. The first of two tree day sites this year was the Woodford Bay bush care site which has been cared for by bush care volunteers for many years. The site received a huge boost after 250 native plants were put in on July 20.
