HARRY BOLDT THE LEGEND
Hannie Byrne riding Elouera Ramjet D and Alinta Veenvliet riding Desperanza
Harry has returned to Germany after a 27 year connection with the WA dressage community.
His contribution to the sport of Dressage on an international level is far reaching and we in WA have been fortunate to have access to his knowledge and wisdom for over a quarter of a century..
During this time the shape of dressage has changed around the world, Harry’s dedication to correct training principles has kept us on the right track.
Harry has taught some of the best horse and rider combinations in the world and trained world and Olympic gold medal teams, we have been so fortunate to have access to someone of his calibre..
He has been an integral part of many of our FEI combinations over this time and personally worked with over twenty horse rider combinations in WA training them up to Grand Prix level.
Some of these riders that he coached are building on his legacy and training other FEI combinations.
Riders perspective - he has an uncanny eye for what the horse needs and what it can do at any particular point in time.
He knows when the horse isn’t ready yet but equally, he will push ahead if the horse is capable.
A quote riders liked – “let’s see what is possible today”.
His wit and dedication to helping our WA riders will always be treasured.
Harry is a true master and at his best when working with dressage horses, he will still be found at Aachen helping his riders be their best.
He will also be enjoying life and sunshine on the Island of Majorca with his son and family and partaking of the local restaurants.
