Creative Industries Palmerston
Artist Residency 2023City of Palmerston is seeking applications for the Creative Industries Artist Residency 2023. This program supports local artists and creatives in the Performing Arts e.g. dance, theatre, spoken word, comedy, and provides a space to develop their professional goals and practice. The successful Artist/s will be provided access to the Community Room at Durack Community Arts Centre for four (4) weeks, commencing on 26
June 2023. In addition, they will receive $9,000 to support their Residency. The program is open to individual artists, partnerships, and collectives, especially locally based artists and/or those with a strong connection to the Palmerston community. CREATIVE PALMERSTON WORKSHOPS We are excited to host a series of creative arts workshops in June 2023 with three renowned Top End Artists and Facilitators. Workshops are being held by Aly de Groot, Janie Andrews and Sachi Hirayama, covering a range of weaving activities, mosaic creation and origami making.
