Campus Safety Notice

Campus Safety Services (CSS) would like to make you aware of reports of individuals approaching students in campus parking lots selling home theatre projectors, projector screens and televisions.

As part of their “sales pitch” they offer items at very cheap prices. For example, they may claim the items are valued at $8,000 but are selling them for 90 per cent off and produce a fake receipt. They use aggressive sales tactics to make you believe you are getting the best deal possible.

If you are approached by individuals attempting to sell any items, do not engage and immediately report the incident to Campus Safety Services at 613-520-4444. Remember: if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Free Menstrual Products Available on Campus

More than 60  washrooms in MacOdrum Library, Nideyinàn, Tory Building, Southam Hall, Minto CASE, Nicol Building, Richcraft Hall and Azrieli Theatre have free menstrual products, thanks to a collaboration between several Carleton offices and CUSA. Information and resources on reproductive rights and sexual health through CUSA’s Flowing Rights campaign are available in these washrooms as well.
