Dear All, Firstly, a sincere thankyou to all of you for your commitment to our residents, and the changing and challenging environment over the last 2+ years. As you are aware we continue to face recruitment challenges in the aged care sector, which has meant that despite huge efforts from our Recruitment teams, Home Managers, and Administration staff, sometimes our committed staff have not been able to take the leave they have applied for, along with a heightened sense of responsibility to present for their shifts and for us to consider any leave applications with scrutiny. In saying this, this memo is to remind all staff members around the application and approval process for annual leave:
If you have requested a period of leave that is unable to be granted, please discuss alternate dates with your Home Manager, and propose any alternate solutions to reach a mutually beneficial arrangement. Should you have any questions in relation to the Leave Procedure, or this memo please contact your Home Manager. Yours sincerely, Amanda Bennett General Manager Aged Care Founded in 1885 by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, Calvary is a charitable, not-for-profit, Catholic health care organisation.
