Five Western alumni have been appointed to the Order of Canada for their contributions to health care, research and public service, including Ivey graduate Donald K. Johnson, MBA’63, LLD’07, who was promoted to the honour’s highest level.

Western and Dalhousie have signed a new agreement to advance collaboration in artificial intelligence, defence, research security and innovation. Building on existing joint initiatives, the partnership creates new opportunities to strengthen made-in-Canada technologies and accelerate interdisciplinary research.

Western researchers are joining an international effort to better understand myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome, a debilitating chronic illness that affects millions of people worldwide. The project received €7.5 million in funding through Horizon Europe.

Road Closure: Western Road
On July 6, the City of London will close Western Road south of Sarnia Road for approximately two weeks. Drivers are asked to proceed with care and allow extra time when travelling to campus.
