This year, Healthway has supported the internationally-famous Avon Descent by sponsoring the Avon Descent Support Unit, promoting the Act-Belong-Commit message.

Applicants for Healthway sponsorships aligned to a calendar year should check the closing dates.

Study finds extra support essential for an alcohol free pregnancy

Women who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy could benefit from information to help them deal with social gatherings involving alcohol so they can avoid drinking during pregnancy, according to the results of a Healthway funded study.

Most of us may not realise that even musicians need to stay in shape and that’s one of the reasons the West Australian Symphony Orchestra’s Principle Double Bassist Joan Wright agreed to take on the role of an Ambassador for Alcohol. Think Again
