IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR COMPETITORS AND BALLOT ANIMAL PROVIDERS

Reminders

• If you haven't provided your animal idents, please provide before the final cutoff 10th June 
• Pesti results and herd health declarations are due 1st July. Please send through to Nikki as soon as possible. Button below for fillable Herd Health declaration form
• Bring a personal water bottle for drinking water. Ensure bottles are clearly labelled
• Bring a generator (If you have one)
• No panels are to be used in the beds
• No gas heaters are permitted
• No animals to arrive on the grounds prior to 12pm Wednesday 9th July
• Please submit your school teams by 8th July for the School Steer Competition
• The Allenae Herefords Most Potential Breeder Award - Apply today!
• National Youth Expo $5,000 Travel Scholarship - Apply today!
• Camping sites are available at Exhibition Park, please follow the link for rates and how to book your sites. Shower and toilet amenities, power and water available. Rates & Reservations - EPIC
• A reminder that the weather will be cold! Pack warm socks, closed in shoes (preferably boots as it could be muddy) thermal base layers, extra jeans and jumpers, gloves, neat and tidy button up shirt and dress pants/jeans/moleskins for parading
• Youth Expo Jacket is to be worn for parading
• Bring an extra warm jacket to wear in the lead up to avoid your expo jacket getting dirty
• The only trucker cap to be worn in the ring is the Herefords Australia Youth cap. Strictly NO other trucker caps to be worn in the ring
• Dress hats can be worn. (Akubra/Ariat etc)
• Strictly NO Alcohol is to be consumed on the grounds whilst the expo is in progress
• Participants over the age of 18 may only smoke in designated areas of the showground and away from other participants of the expo
• There is a zero tolerance for bullying at the expo or any of the functions surrounding expo. Serious consequences will apply, including potential removal from the event and future exclusion from Herefords Australia Youth activities. 

Registrations will open at 11am Thursday 10 July

Kick off on Thursday 10 July to commence at 1pm sharp.

Failure to comply to the conditions of the expo or anyone found to be in breach of any of the rules of the expo will politely be asked to leave voiding any refund of entry costs. We aim to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, spectators, staff and helpers.
