On the Tee for Canterbury

Rep season is kicking off with team announcements rolling out. Our junior rep players are fortunate to have access to the state-of-the-art facilities at the Sir Bob Charles Golf Centre, giving them the chance to prepare and train at the very highest level as they look to give Canterbury a competitive edge this season. We’re especially grateful to Sir Bob Charles Golf Centre, who have generously provided access over the past two years – an incredible boost for the development of our young players. Read more here.

Ever wondered what it’s like to represent Canterbury? We’re giving you a peek inside the lives of our rep players – from the rookies who can’t wait to tee off, to the long-timers who know all the tricks of the trade.

Canterbury Golf Awards Evening

The Christchurch Golf Club was buzzing with energy on 15 August as golfers, supporters, volunteers, and clubs from across the region gathered for our Canterbury Golf Awards Dinner – New Zealand’s only dedicated awards evening for golf. The prestigious event shone a spotlight on the 2024–2025 season, recognising not only standout performances on the course but also the dedication of the people and clubs who keep the game thriving at every level.

Canterbury’s Most Social Competition

We’re teaming up with the Golf Warehouse and Hagley Golf Club to launch the Bring a Mate Series. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just starting out, this series is designed to be welcoming, social, and just a little bit competitive. With fun formats including Ambrose and Stableford, it’s a great chance for high-handicappers and newcomers to get on the course, build confidence, and enjoy the game.
