Prayer Promise

"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."

Cultivating Gratitude

Lindsey Pratt

“The air is changing as the final leaves fall off the trees. Fall is ending and winter is around the corner. We are on the cusp of a new season. The season of thankfulness is upon us. This season is an invitation to reflect on the blessings we have and the ways we can share those blessings with others. Often, in the busyness of life, it’s easy to overlook how much we’ve been given. We can be thankful for: health, family, homes, food, and community. As we pause, we’re reminded that thankfulness isn’t simply a reaction to good circumstances but a posture we can adopt regardless of what we face.

Journey With Jesus

We would appreciate your prayers as we get closer to 2025. The North American Division is doing a division-wide evangelistic push called Pentecost 2025. We have stepped out in faith here at Pioneer Memorial Church with a full series called Journey with Jesus. The preachers for this series will be our kids who are excited to tell others about Jesus. We have had more than enough preachers step forward. We have funding falling into place. God is doing big things to make this happen; it is already evident. We do need your prayers, however. I am excited to see God do a new thing and for this next generation to be a part of it!

Offering for November 16, 2024

Pioneer Operating Budget

One time a friend of mine came over to my house, and I wanted to bake a dessert for him. He had an allergy to one of the ingredients, so I hastily used a substitute that I was unsure of. If you have ever baked, you know that even changing one ingredient can change the taste, texture, and really the entire baked good if you’re not careful. I learned, on that day, that this ingredient should not have been swapped out! Needless to say, tasting this dessert was not a pleasant experience.
