Nau mai a Matariki, nau mai a Puanga, Nau mai a “Matariki mā Puanga”.

While we are in pōwhiri mode, I’d also like to welcome Erana Keelan-Reedy, who’s term as a board member of Te Māngai Pāho officially began yesterday. While Erana’s term has started, we will officially welcome her to Te Māngai Pāho on the morning of 22nd May, ahead of her first Board Meeting. Nau mai e te māreikura! In case you hadn’t noticed, that also happens to be the day the government will present Budget 2025. It will be an interesting day for all of us.

As mentioned above, once we have had an opportunity to consider Budget 2025, we are organising to engage with our sector to present our funding plan for 2025/26, take feedback and provide any clarification that might be needed. We will also be looking to start a more general conversation about the future pathway for our sector. I look forward to catching up with you all.

    Kia tau te mauri!
