Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility
Are you concerned about a neighbour, or are you worried about your own welfare? If you suspect a person is experiencing abuse or neglect, you can make a safeguarding referral to us. Please call 0300 303 1010 to report your concerns.
If the person is in immediate danger, call 999.
Stop, think and act: the risk of an open fire door
Fire doors stop the spread of smoke and fire and should be kept closed at all times. Next time you see a fire door wedged open; stop, think and act. Close the door.

Keeping you gas safe
This month, we celebrated Gas Safety Week – a week dedicated to raising awareness around gas safety.
Meet John and Dave, two of our Gas team members who have a whopping 88 years of combined experience in the gas industry.
John is our Gas Operations Manager, and he kicked off his career back in 1983 as a young apprentice at Northern Gas, which later became British Gas. John ensures we deliver a compliant, safe, value-for-money service.
Dave, our Gas Quality Inspector, started his journey in the gas industry in 1979 with Northern Gas. He makes sure our gas repairs, servicing, and improvements run smoothly and safely. He keeps an eye on our gas services to make sure they meet our high standards by conducting regular audits, so you might see him in your home!

Don't forget - every year we are required by law to check all fitted gas appliances we own in your home, like the central heating boiler. You will receive a letter when your gas safety check is due - please let us know if you cannot make the appointment so we can reschedule it.

Join Recycle Week
Recycle Week turns 20 this year
Running 16-22 October, we are huge supporters of this initiative and urge you to join in!
This year’s Recycle Week theme is the Big Recycling Hunt, which focuses on the everyday items in your house that you can and should recycle, but frequently miss!
Shampoo bottles, empty deodorant cans, meat packaging cartons and cleaning spray bottles are all members of the ‘often forgotten’ squad that miss out on recycling. It’s estimated that the UK goes through more than half a billion bottles of shampoo alone each year – that’s a lot of plastic that could be recycled.
So, join us this week keeping an eye out for the things we can recycle and work a little harder to recycle more of them, more often.

Some customers are being contacted by disrepair companies claiming to be working with Paradigm. We are not working with any such companies.
If you're unsure about the identity of any caller, please don't give them any personal information. If a technician arrives at your house, please check that they have their Paradigm ID.
