Please note that, due to the weather, the Penn Athletics Picnic location has changed. Additionally, PVP circles will now be meeting at their assigned locations, not Penn Commons. For today’s weather, we are expecting scattered afternoon thunderstorms and a high of 82 degrees. PHINS Orientation Group Look-Up Masks & PennOpen Pass Daily Symptom Checks Events marked [M] are mandatory. Please note that failure to attend mandatory events where attendance is taken, could result in a hold being placed on your spring 2022 registration. Today's Calendar: Sunday, August 29BrunchVarious Locations | 10am-2pm Wristbands are required to enter dining halls. Hill, Kings Court English, Lauder, and 1920 Commons dining cafes. Kosher dining available at Hillel, 11am-2pm. [M] PHINS Orientation Group Meeting & PVP CirclesVarious Locations | 10am-4pm Meet with your PHINS Orientation Group at your assigned location (check your location here) for Penn Violence Prevention (PVP) Circles. PVP Circles build community, share resources, & normalize conversations on supporting individuals who have experienced interpersonal violence. Groups 1-30 meet from 10am-11:30am, Groups 31-60 meet from 11:30am-1pm, Groups 61-90 meet from 1pm-2:30pm, and Groups 91-120 meet from 2:30pm-4pm. See map below. NSO SpeakeasyKelly Writers House Garden | 9pm-11pm This open mic night features performances by the incoming class. Bring your poetry, your guitar, or your award winning essay and share your talents with your classmates. Or just come to hang out, listen, and check out the Writers House. Late Night Activities FairHouston Hall | 11pm-1am Meet various student organization reps and participate in a late night party with food and activities. Accessing Your Group Number & PRP Meeting LocationFollow these easy steps to access your orientation group number and find all locations for mandatory group activities! Attendance will be taken when you meet up with your PHINS leaders. Failure to attend these events will result in a hold on your registration.
